Blitzkrieg Wulf published Update 2.57.1.50 for War Thunder on July 28, 2026, delivering a collection of bug fixes with no new content announced beyond a decal reorganization and one vehicle addition to an achievement list.
What changed
Aircraft
- Fuel dumping was broken after using rocket boosters — now fixed.
- The J-22M1A incorrectly merged drop tank fuel into the main tank display, hiding the separate timer — corrected.
- The Ju 388 J crosshair vanished or misplaced itself in third-person view — resolved.
- Preset radar modes could not be changed on the spawn screen for some aircraft — fixed.
Ground Vehicles
- Turrets on some vehicles jerked horizontally when the gun was fully lowered despite no physical obstruction — fixed.
- Multi-vehicle SAMs loaded the wrong missile type under specific launcher-to-radar switching conditions — fixed.
- The hit analysis menu sometimes failed to highlight armor elements struck by a shell — fixed.
- The commander camera jiggled when toggling radar controls on certain SAMs, including the HQ11 — fixed.
Nuclear Escalation
- The vegetation-free zone around airfields has been enlarged.
- Corvette AA settings were adjusted to make them more susceptible to anti-ship missiles.
Interface, Locations, and Customization
- Floating trees above cliffs on Rocky Pillars have been removed.
- Decorators on heavily curved surfaces no longer deform incorrectly.
- Three decals — Tricolore Test Pilot, Emblem of the Coldstream Guards, and Coat of Arms of Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum — have been moved to their proper national and vehicle-class categories.
- The Centauro II (P) has been added to a vehicle achievement list (the source text is truncated before the achievement name is given).
For players who rely on SAM systems or aircraft fuel management, the fixes here are substantive rather than cosmetic.
