The War Thunder Championships Series rolls into its third major of the 2026 season, shifting to a 4v4 top-tier ground format. Teams must field a roster of seven players and navigate two open qualifier weekends before reaching the playoff stage.

What's happening and when

• Open Qualifier I: August 22nd–23rd at 15:00 GMT
• Open Qualifier II: August 29th–30th at 15:00 GMT
• Playoffs: September 5th–6th and September 12th–13th at 15:00 GMT
• Four teams advance from each open qualifier to the playoff stage
• Prize coupons must be selected within 10 days of the tournament's end

Twitch Drops and giveaways

Live broadcasts begin at 14:45 GMT across both qualifier weekends, with Twitch Drops awarding boosters and Premium Account time to viewers. Drops are also available during the Finals. Streams will be broadcast in English, Russian, German, Polish, and French, with replays and highlights available on the official YouTube channel.

Players connecting a Twitch account to their Gaijin account can claim drops automatically. The Official War Thunder Esports Discord is hosting giveaways for several in-game packs, including the F-14D, Puma u14, F-16AM, and M60A1 Predator packs.
